* Create your own ornaments

Decorating the tree with colorful ornaments is one of the highlights of the holiday season. Christmas ornaments, however, always come with a hefty price. So instead of buying red balls or golden bells for your tree, you can just create your own set of tree ornaments!  With your friends and family, you can make papier-mâché bells, Styrofoam balls, paper snowflakes, clay snowmen, and cardboard reindeer! Not only is this an excuse to save more money, but it is also an opportunity to bond with the entire family.

Unleash your inner artist by sketching nativity scenes, attaching red ribbons, adding golden sequins, or pasting snowflake cutouts onto clean sheets of paper.
